While interneting today I discovered that the world lost Racheal Anilyse back in November of 2011.
Racheal started Underground Art School Magazine and was a contributor for Pikaland for a while.  She was a talented and passionate young illustrator who loved hand-drawn typography.  I had the chance to work with her on a few projects back in 2009-2010.  She invited me to be in the Sketchbook Edition of UAS Magazine and asked if she could showcase some of the Post-it note doodles from my sketchbook. She was also gracious enough to create an illustration (diamond mouth pictured above) for my short-lived zine called Smile You’re Not Dead.
My thoughts go out to her family and friends.
